How do I update Matomo to the latest version?

For Matomo On-Premise, go to Administration > System > General Settings and click “Check for updates.” Matomo will guide you through the update process. Always back up your database before updating.

Matomo Cloud updates are handled automatically by Matomo. For Docker installations, pull the latest image and restart your containers. For WordPress, update via the plugin manager.
