What is the difference between a website, an intranet and a rollup?
In Matomo, a “Website” tracks a single public domain. An “Intranet” is configured the same way but is for internal applications not accessible from the internet. A “Roll-Up” combines data from multiple websites or intranets into one aggregated view.
Use Roll-Up Reporting (premium plugin) when you manage multiple sites and want combined metrics without checking each site individually. Each site type is configured under Administration > Websites > Manage.
